Today we live in a world with more and more people around us, but a growing physical and psychological distance from everyone. Perhaps this is a defense mechanism to protect us from being overwhelmed, but is living inside a personal bubble affecting us more than we think? I’ve just finished reading Mark Sisson‘s article, The Power Of Touch, which has raised some interesting thoughts in my mind. Our society seems to be moving further and further away from physical touch as we become more and more addicted to mobile phones, email, video games and technology.
